It has been hard for us to find laundry places. One Beijing local told us to do it in the sink. We finally found a nice family in a small shop. The clothes came back looking literally like new. It cost as much as NY laundry -- around $12. And this price is still 3 times cheaper than when our hotel in Guilin did it.

I guess it's too late to teach you how to do laundry without washing machines.
Just in case, here it is. Wet it, slide the bar soap on the clothes a few times, rub it back and forth, rinse it, squeeze the water out, line dry.
If Simon can do needle work, you can wash your clothes in a sink.
I think that it is a great opportunity to open a laundry store in Beijing.You can open franchisee stores.The first one to get in the market always is winner.
Arrange some special programs in the store to promote more business,just like Simon's model show, etc....
